英国政府は2000年から2016年までの交通データを収集し、その過程で160万件以上の事故を記録し、これを最も包括的な交通データセットの1つにしました。これは、変化を遂げている国の大きな姿を示しています。
なお、含まれるすべての事故データは警察の報告に基づくものであり、このデータには軽微な事故は含まれていません。
内容
ukTrafficAADF.csv は、指定された期間（2000年から2016年）にすべての主要道路を通行した交通量を追跡します。このファイルに含まれる主要な統計値であるAADTは、「Average Annual Daily Flow」（年間平均1日の交通流量）の略であり、道路区間を通過する車両の走行回数に基づいて、その道路区間の活況度を測定するものです。ウィキペディアのAADTのページは、この主題に関する良い参考文献です。
事故データは3つのCSVファイルに分けられています。accidents_2005_to_2007.csv、accidents_2009_to_2011.csv、および accidents_2012_to_2014.csv です。これら3つのファイルを合わせると、160万件の交通事故が含まれています。総期間は2005年から2014年ですが、2008年は欠けています。
