コンピュータビジョンプロジェクトを評価する際に、訓練データとテストデータは不可欠です。使用されるデータは、提案されたシステムが解決しようとする課題を表しています。我々は、都市環境での交通信号機(TL)の検出と識別など、大量の変化を含む大型のデータベースを望んでいます。既存の研究を調査すると明らかなように、現在の評価は主に、公開されているデータセットではなく、著者自身が収集した小規模なローカルデータセットに限定されています。ローカルデータセットのサイズは通常小さく、変化も少ないです。これにより、異なる著者の研究と結果を比較することがほぼ不可能になり、また、ある分野の現状を把握することも難しくなります。将来の交通信号機識別(TLR)研究に共通の基盤を提供するために、我々は米国の道路を題材とした映像に基づく広範な公開データベースを収集しました。このデータベースには、連続したテストと訓練用の映像シーケンスが含まれており、合計43,007フレームと113,888個の注釈付き交通信号機があります。これらのシーケンスは、車の屋根に取り付けられたステレオカメラで撮影されたもので、車両は昼と夜、様々な光線と天候条件の下で走行しています。このデータベースでは左側のカメラビューのみが使用されているため、ステレオ特徴は現状では使用されていません。データベースは米国カリフォルニア州サンディエゴで収集されました。このデータベースは、主にテスト用の4つの昼間シーケンスと2つの夜間シーケンスを提供しており、パシフィックビーチとラホヤで23分25秒の運転時間を提供しています。ステレオ画像ペアは、点灰色のホーネットXB3(BBX3 - 13S2C - 60)を使用して取得されたもので、3つのレンズを備え、画像を1280 x 960の解像度で捕捉し、各レンズの視野角(FoV)は66°です。左カメラビューはすべてのテストシーケンスと訓練クリップに使用されています。訓練クリップには13個の昼間クリップと5個の夜間クリップが含まれています。Zipには2種類の注釈が含まれています。
