このデータセットには、『薄伽梵歌』の完全なサンスクリット語のテキストが3つの形式で収録されています。データセットの最初のフィールドはインデックスで、2番目のフィールド（天城体）には天城体文字で書かれた『薄伽梵歌』のテキストまたは詩が記載されており、3番目のフィールド（verse_text）には再び詩のテキストが記載されていますが、アクセント付きのラテン文字で書かれており、最後のフィールド（verse_text_no_samdhis）には再び詩のテキストが記載されていますが、単語は外部のサンドヒ（単語境界での音の変化）の規則に従って区切られています。
このテキストは、神聖な恩寵を受けたA. C. バクティヴェダンタ・スワミ・プラブパーダによって書かれ、バクティヴェダンタ・ブック・トラストによって出版された『薄伽梵歌原典』（*Bhagavad - gītā* As It Is）のサンスクリット語のテキストに基づいています。
