映画鑑賞者にとって、映画ポスターは人間が映画の内容やジャンルに関する手がかりを得るために最初に目にするものの一つです。人間は色や俳優の表情などの手がかりを捉えて、すぐにジャンル（ホラー、コメディ、アニメーションなど）を判断することができます。画像の色相、彩度、明度、輪郭などの色の特性が人間の感情に影響を与えることが示されています。特定の状況が人間の感情を引き起こします。人間が映画ポスターを一瞥するだけで映画のジャンルを予測できる場合、ポスターの色の特性、局所的なテクスチャに基づく特徴、構造的な手がかりには、機械学習アルゴリズムで映画のジャンルを予測するために利用できる特性があると考えることができます。
内容
映画ポスターはIMDBウェブサイトから取得しました。収集したデータセットには、IMDB ID、IMDBリンク、タイトル、IMDBスコア、ジャンル、映画ポスターのダウンロードリンクが含まれています。各映画ポスターは少なくとも1つのジャンルに属することができ、最大3つのジャンルラベルを割り当てることができます。データセットにはIMDBスコアも含まれているため、映画ポスターが評価と関係があるかどうかを見るのは本当に面白いことです。
