時間的にトリミングされていない動画における行動認識！
野外の動画から多数の行動カテゴリを自動的に認識し、位置特定することは、動画理解やマルチメディアイベント検出にとって非常に重要です。THUMOSワークショップとチャレンジは、現実的な設定でオープンソースの動画から多数のクラスを持つ大規模な行動認識に関する新しい課題とアプローチを探求することを目的としています。
既存の行動認識データセットの多くは、対象となる行動を区切るために手動でトリミングされた動画で構成されています。これは、実際の設定で行動認識がどのように適用されるかとあまり一致しないため、かなりの制限とされています。したがって、THUMOS 2015では時間的にトリミングされていない動画に対するチャレンジを実施します。参加者はトリミングされたクリップを使用して自分たちの方法を訓練することができますが、トリミングされていないデータでシステムをテストする必要があります。
新しい先進的なデータセットであり、430時間以上の動画データと4500万フレーム（THUMOS'14より70％大きい）を含み、以下の要素がこのチャレンジで利用可能になります。
訓練セット：101の行動クラスからの13,000以上の時間的にトリミングされた動画。
検証セット：行動の時間的注釈付きの2100以上の時間的にトリミングされていない動画。
背景セット：101の行動のいずれのインスタンスも含まないことが保証された約3000の関連動画。
テストセット：正解ラベルが隠された5600以上の時間的にトリミングされていない動画。
すべての動画はYouTubeから収集されています。我々は、新しいTHUMOS 2015データセットでの2つのタスクにおける提案手法の性能に基づいて、その成功を評価します。
行動分類：このタスクは、101の行動クラスに対するクリップ全体の行動分類の提出を受け付けます。
時間的行動位置特定：このタスクは、20の行動クラスのサブセットに対する行動認識と時間的位置特定の提出を受け付けます。
参加者は、自分たちのシステムを簡単に説明するノートブック論文、またはアプローチを詳細に記述した研究論文を提出することができます。すべての提出結果は、ワークショップ中にまとめられ、ワークショップ会議録に含まれます。さらに、上位の参加者は口頭発表をするよう招待され、残りのエントリーはポスターセッションで自分たちの研究成果を発表することが奨励されます。
