「xBD」には、地震、山火事、洪水、火山噴火など8種類の異なる自然災害の前後における約70万の建物の衛星画像が含まれています。これは約5000平方キロメートルの地域をカバーしており、インドとアフリカの洪水、ラオスとブラジルのダム決壊、カリフォルニアとギリシャの歴史的な致命的な火災などが含まれます。
