Charadesは、Amazon Mechanical Turkで収集された9848個の日常の室内活動の動画から構成されるデータセットです。267人の異なるユーザーに、固定語彙から選ばれた物体と動作を含む文を提示し、彼らはその文を（字当てゲームのように）演技した動画を録画しました。このデータセットには、157の動作クラスに関する66,500個の時間注釈、46の物体クラスに関する41,104個のラベル、および動画の27,847個のテキスト記述が含まれています。この研究成果はECCV2016で発表されました。
