MegaFaceは、ワシントン大学(University of Washington)のコンピュータサイエンスとエンジニアリング研究所によって2015年に「MegaFace Challenge」という挑戦に対して公開され、維持管理されている公開顔データセットであり、現在最も権威ある人顔認識性能評価指標の一つです。データセット内の顔画像はすべてFlickr creative commons datasetから収集され、合計690,572人の人物に関する1,027,060枚の画像が含まれています。これは、百万人規模の人顔認識アルゴリズムの最初のテスト基準です。
