米国国立標準技術研究所（NIST）が公開した大型の顔データセットには、インターネットから収集した静止顔画像と動画が含まれており、合計1845人の対象、11754枚の画像、55026個の動画フレーム、7011個の動画、および10044枚の非顔画像があります。このデータセットは収集において、オックスフォード大学のVGG顔データセットFace ChallengeやCASIA WEBFaceデータセットなど、他の一般的な顔データセットと重複していません。
このデータセットは、NISTが主催するFace Challengeコンテストで、照合、検索、検出、クラスタリング、ラベリングなどの顔認識タスクに使用されます。
