STL - 10データセットは、教師なし特徴学習、ディープラーニング、自己学習アルゴリズムの開発に使用される画像認識データセットです。そのインスピレーションはCIFAR - 10データセットに由来しますが、いくつかの変更が加えられています。特に、各クラスのラベル付き訓練例はCIFAR - 10よりも少ないですが、教師あり訓練の前に画像モデルを学習するために非常に多くのラベルなし例が提供されています。主な課題は、ラベル付きデータと似ているが異なる分布からのラベルなしデータを利用して、有用な事前データを構築することです。
