このデータセットは高德マップに由来し、国家情報センターの協力企業である北京国信宏数科技有限責任公司が提供しています。時間的な範囲は2018年9月30日までの全量データで、地域的には全国をカバーし、データ総量は6530万余りのレコードです。POIは「Point of Interest」の略で、中国語で「興味の対象地点」と訳すことができます。地理情報システムにおいて、POIは一軒の家、一軒の店舗、一つの郵便ポスト、一つのバス停などを指すことができます。
このデータには、POI名称（name）、分類（type）、住所（address）、経緯度（location）、POIが所在する省の名称（pname）、POIが所在する都市の名称（cityname）、POIが所在する区域の名称（adname）、POIが所在する区域のコード（adcode）の合計8つの核心フィールドが含まれています。データ形式はcsvで、エンコーディングはGBKです。
