タブレット、携帯電話などの様々な製品に関する感情分析は、世界中の様々な人口統計学的特性のデータを収集する場合、面白いだけでなく難しいことがあります。このデータセットを使って、ユーザーが提供した生のテキストレビューに基づいて、様々な製品を4つの異なる感情クラスに正確に分類する機械学習モデルを開発します。これらの感情を分析することは、顧客により良いサービスを提供するだけでなく、レビューに表れているまたは隠されている多くの顧客の特性を明らかにすることもできます。
感情分析では、生のテキストを表現し、機械が理解できるようにするための前処理が必要なため、多くのことを考慮する必要があります。通常、生の情報を語幹化や見出し語化し、TF-IDFや単語埋め込みなどを使って表現します。しかし、TransformerベースのBERTモデルなどの最先端の自然言語処理モデルがあれば、TF-IDFやカウントベクトル化器などの手動の特徴量エンジニアリングを省略することができます。
