このデータセットは、私の以前の[ニューヨーク市の国勢調査データ][1]データセットを拡張したものです。ニューヨーク市だけでなく、全国のデータが含まれています。拡張されたデータにより、はるかに興味深い分析が可能になり、他のデータセットをサポートする上でもはるかに有用になります。
内容
ここにあるデータは、2015年のアメリカ合衆国コミュニティ調査の5年見積もりのDP03およびDP05テーブルから取得されています。完全なデータセットやその他の多くの情報は、アメリカのFactfinderの[ウェブサイト][2]で見つけることができます。現在、私は2つのデータファイルを含めています。
1. acs2015_census_tract_data.csv：米国（ワシントンD.C.とプエルトリコを含む）の各国勢調査区のデータ。
2. acs2015_county_data.csv：米国（ワシントンD.C.とプエルトリコを含む）の各郡または郡相当区域のデータ。
この2つのファイルは、id列の名前に若干の違いがあるだけで、同じ構造になっています。郡は政治的な区分であり、一部の境界は何世紀にもわたって設定されています。一方、国勢調査区は国勢調査局によって定義されており、規模がはるかに均一になっています。典型的な国勢調査区には、約5000人程度の住民がいます。
国勢調査局はおおよそ毎年見積もりを更新しています。2016年のデータの少なくとも一部はすでに利用可能であるため、私は近い将来これを更新する可能性があります。
