文脈
中古品を売る際に、商品の再販価格を決めるのはかなり難しい。このプロセスには、市場にある同種の既存商品を調べ、市場動向を観察することで適切な価格を決めることが含まれる。誰もが利益を得て売りたいが、価格を高く設定しすぎて商品が誰にも買われなくなってはいけないし、低く設定しすぎて損をするようなこともしたくない。我々は、商品の適切な最適再販価格を予測するシステムの開発に興味を持っている。
内容
データは、オンラインツール（https://scrapy.org）を使用してウェブスクレイピングにより、OLXパキスタンのウェブサイトから収集された。データの収集は2018年3月から9月の期間に行われた。
これらのデータファイルはJSON形式でスクレイピングされ、合計22098件のレコード（行）と7つの属性からなる単一のデータセットに追加された。
属性の説明は以下の通りである。
1. 状態 – 新品/中古。
2. 作成時間 – 広告がウェブサイトに公開された日。
3. 説明 – 広告の説明
4. 所在地 - 地域、都市、州。
5. 価格 – ルピーで表示
6. タイトル – 広告の正確な主題を含むタイトル
7. URL – 広告が公開されたソースであるOLXのウェブサイト
