WTA（女子テニス協会）は女子プロテニスの主要な組織団体で、世界規模で独自のツアーを運営しています。そのウェブサイトでは、選手個々に関する多くのデータや、試合結果とその間の現在のランキングを含むツアー試合に関する情報を提供しています。
幸いなことに、[Jeff Sackmann](https://github.com/JeffSackmann) がそのウェブサイトをスクレイピングし、すべての情報を収集し、使いやすいデータセットにまとめました。

内容
ここにあるデータセットはソースから直接ダウンロードしたもので、データには一切の変更を加えておらず、ファイルはサブディレクトリに配置して、誰でも簡単に見つけられるようにしています。
このデータセットは、WTAに登録された選手の統計情報、年ごとの各ツアーで行われた試合とその結果、さらにはツアーの予選試合に関する情報を網羅しています。
なお、2006年以前の試合のデータはすべて揃っていない可能性があるので、それらのデータセットを扱う際には注意してください。
