安価な消費者向けデバイス（例：キネクト）は解像度の低いノイズの多い深度データを取得するため、以前のCVPRの研究で行ったように、クリーンな合成画像を使ってアルゴリズムを学習させることができませんでした。その代わり、数人の被験者をキネクトの前（約1メートルの距離）に座らせて記録しました。被験者には、可能なすべてのヨー角とピッチ角を網羅するように、自由に頭を回すよう依頼しました。
内容
リアルタイムの頭部姿勢推定システムを評価できるように、シーケンスはwww.faceshift.comの自動システムを使ってアノテーション付けされました。つまり、各フレームには3D空間での頭部の中心と頭部の回転角度がアノテーション付けされています。
このデータセットには20人（女性6人、男性14人 - 4人は2回記録された）の15,000枚以上の画像が含まれています。各フレームには、深度画像、対応するRGB画像（どちらも640x480ピクセル）、およびアノテーションが提供されています。頭部姿勢の範囲はヨー角で約±75度、ピッチ角で約±60度をカバーしています。真値は頭部の3D位置とその回転の形式で提供されています。
謝辞
アルゴリズムは深度画像のみで動作しますが、RGB画像も提供しています。このデータベースは、追跡ではなくフレームごとの推定を念頭に置いて取得されたものであり、そのため一部のフレームが欠落していることに注意してください。
