ここでのデータセットは、2006年から2016年までのアップル（AAPL）とマイクロソフト（MSFT）の株価と、同じ期間にこの2つのテクノロジー大手企業を取り上げたニュースの要約、概要、抜粋で構成されています。私たちは、ニュース記事が株価に与える影響を理解し、描写しようとしています。ニュースの抜粋、要約、概要は、ニューヨークタイムズ [API][1] から取得しました。株価は、ヤフーファイナンスから取得しました。
最終的なデータセットは、それらのニュース文字列に感情分析を適用し、スコアに変換することで作成されました。この目的のために、[Natural Language Toolkit（NLTK）][2] が使用されました。最終的なデータセットは、回帰モデルにさらに使用されました。
