現在、気候変動は地球の生命に影響を与えています。私たちのVIGIA（https://jivg.org/research-projects/vigia/）プロジェクトでは、保護区の自律監視システムを構築したいと考えています。最初のステップは、保護区内の植生を認識することです。
このデータセットでは、植物の認識または分類のために、柱状サボテン（Neobuxbaumia tetetzo）の16,000以上のサンプルを提示しています。
