私たちは、画像分析に基づくマルウェアの検出と分類の問題を検討しました。私たちは実行可能ファイルを画像に変換し、ディープラーニング（DL）モデルを使用して画像認識を適用しました。これらのモデルを訓練するために、大量の画像データセットで事前学習された既存のDLモデルに基づいて、転移学習を採用しました。私たちはこの技術を用いて様々な実験を行い、その性能を非常に単純な機械学習技術であるk最近傍法（k - NN）の性能と比較しました。k - NNの実験では、画像分析ではなく、実行可能ファイルから直接抽出した特徴を使用しました。私たちの画像ベースのDL技術は実験で良好な結果を示しましたが、驚くべきことに、k - NNよりも効果的でした。私たちは、ゼロデイ攻撃を模擬した実験においてDLモデルがk - NNよりも性能が優れていることを証明することで、データをより良く一般化できることを示しました。
