米国多様性ビザプログラムについて
多様性移民ビザプログラムは、グリーンカード宝くじとも呼ばれ、米国政府による米国永住者カードを取得するための宝くじプログラムです。このプログラムの目的は、過去5年間で移民数が少ない国の申請者に毎年5万枚のビザ（グリーンカード）を提供することで、米国の移民人口を多様化することです。
宝くじに参加するために、適格国の申請者は以下のウェブサイトでフォームに記入する必要があります。https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/
最初に約10万件の申し込みがランダムに選ばれ、追加の選考ステップを経て、5万枚のビザが発行されます。
データセットの内容
このデータセットには、各国別にオンライン申し込み数と発行されたビザ数が含まれています。オンライン申し込みについては2007年度から2018年度のデータが、発行されたビザについては2008年度から2017年度のデータが含まれています。
