アメリカ法律家協会（ABA）に認定された各法律学校は、毎年、標準的な509号開示書をABAに提出しなければなりません。この開示書は、法律学校の自己申告データを反映しており、このデータセットはそのような開示書の集大成です。
内容
各テーブルは異なる主題を反映しています。たとえば、あるテーブルは学校別の司法試験合格データを明らかにし、別のテーブルは入学許可の申し出と承諾の数、および入学するクラスの学部のGPAなどの入学情報を強調しています。データは2010年から2017年を対象としています。データセットの核心は、ABA_AdmissionsとABA_Bar_Passage_Jurisdictionのファイルにあります。これらのファイルを使うと、法律学校の入学基準と司法試験合格率の関係を見つけることができます。
米国の司法試験に関する背景情報は、この変数を分析する際に役立つかもしれません。米国の各州は独自の司法試験を作成し、各州の試験は年に2回実施されます。したがって、司法試験合格率は、指定された年の2回の試験間の特定の州の平均合格率です。
