人民日報のコーパス、形態素解析と品詞タグ付け（POS）のコーパス（中国語の形態素解析と品詞タグ付け用コーパス）資源は、1998年人民日報の1 - 6月の品詞タグ付きコーパスの中の1998年1月のコーパスで、直接品詞タグ付けの訓練に使用でき、処理後はエンティティ認識モデルの訓練にも使用できます。
PFRコーパスは、人民日報1998年上半期の純テキストコーパスに対して形態素解析と品詞タグ付けを行って作成されたもので、人民日報の日付、版順、記事順に厳密に編成されています。記事内の各単語には品詞タグが付けられています。現在のタグセットには、26個の基本品詞タグ（名詞n、時間詞t、場所詞s、方位詞f、数詞m、量詞q、区別詞b、代名詞r、動詞v、形容詞a、状態詞z、副詞d、前置詞p、接続詞c、助詞u、語気詞y、感嘆詞e、擬音語o、熟語i、慣用句l、略称j、前接成分h、後接成分k、語素g、非語素字x、句読点w）があり、コーパスの応用の観点から、固有名詞（人名nr、地名ns、機関名nt、その他の固有名詞nz）も追加されています。言語学の観点からもいくつかのタグが追加され、合計で40以上のタグが使用されています。
