TCGA - CESCの癌CT画像データは、様々な種類の癌の診断と治療過程を全面的にデジタル化して追跡し、検査結果、処方箋、治療効果をデジタルファイルの形式で記録することを目的としています。
癌ゲノムマップルート宮頸部扁平上皮癌と子宮頸腺癌（TCGA - CESC）のデータ収集は、癌ゲノムマップルート（TCGA）の被験者と一致する臨床画像を提供することで、癌の表現型と遺伝子型を関連付ける研究コミュニティを構築する取り組みの一部です。臨床、遺伝、病理データはゲノムデータ共有（GDC）データポータルに保存され、放射線学的データは癌画像アーカイブ（TCIA）に保存されています。
一致するTCGA患者識別子により、研究者はTCGA / TCIAデータベースを探索し、組織の遺伝子型、放射線学的表現型、患者の予後の間の相関関係を調べることができます。TCGAの組織は世界中の多くの場所から収集され、通常、各癌種について約500個のサンプルが目標となります。このため、画像データセットはスキャナーのモダリティ、メーカー、収集プロトコルに関しても非常に多様です。ほとんどの場合、画像は対照研究や臨床試験の一部としてではなく、通常の診療の一環として取得されます。
CIP TCGA放射線学プログラム
