ミームジェネレーターデータセットには、[ミームジェネレーター](https://www.loc.gov/item/lcwaN0010226/)から収集された合計86,310個のミームが含まれています。基本ミーム（テキストのないミーム画像で、ミームインスタンスに加工されるのを待っているもの）から派生した57,652個の一意のミームインスタンスがあります。このデータセットには、これらのミームに関するいくつかの最小限のメタデータが含まれています。ただし、データセットにはミーム自体は含まれていませんが、国会図書館のウェブアーカイブ内でそれらのウェブアーカイブコピーにアクセスできる場所へのリンクが提供されています。
このデータセットは、国会図書館DCMのデジタルコレクションスペシャリストであるチェイス・ドゥーリーによって作成されました。
データセットは[ウェブアーカイブデータセット](https://labs.loc.gov/experiments/webarchive-datasets/?loclr=blogsig)から取得されています。
