# 内容
世界宗教プロジェクトは、1945年以降の世界中の宗教信奉に関する詳細な情報を提供することを目的としています。このプロジェクトには、国際システム内の各国における半世紀ごとの宗教別の信者数に関するデータが含まれています。一部の宗教は宗教グループに分類されており、入手可能なデータの範囲内で、特定の宗教の信者を宗教グループに細分化した情報も提供されています。
このプロジェクトは3段階で開発されました。第一段階は宗教ツリーの作成でした。宗教ツリーとは、主要な宗教とそれら主要宗教内の宗教グループを体系的に分類したものです。宗教ツリーを作成するために、我々は包括的な文献レビューを行いました。その目的は、宗教を定義し、主要宗教内の特定の宗教や宗教グループの具体的な指標を見つけ、世界宗教の分類に関する既存の取り組みを特定することでした。第二段階は、宗教信奉の主要なデータソースを特定し、宗教ツリーの分類に従ってこれらのソースからデータを収集することでした。これにより、特定の時点において一部の国に複数のレコードが含まれるデータセットが作成されましたが、特定の国、特定の期間、特定の宗教に関しては複数の欠損データが含まれていました。第三段階は、データのクリーニング、異なるソースからの情報の不一致を調整すること、および欠損ケースのデータを補完することでした。
