このデータは、「国立糖尿病・消化器・腎臓病研究所」によって収集され、ピマインディアン糖尿病データベースの一部として公開されています。より大規模なデータベースからこれらの事例を選択する際には、いくつかの制約が設けられています。特に、ここに含まれるすべての患者はピマインディアンの血統（ネイティブアメリカンのサブグループ）に属し、21歳以上の女性です。
私たちはPythonとその人気のあるデータサイエンス関連のパッケージのいくつかを使用します。まず、pandasをインポートしてCSVファイルからデータを読み込み、さらなる使用のために操作します。また、numpyを使ってデータを分類モデルに入力するのに適した形式に変換します。可視化にはseabornとmatplotlibを使用します。その後、sklearnからロジスティック回帰アルゴリズムをインポートします。このアルゴリズムは分類モデルを構築するのに役立ちます。最後に、sklearnに含まれるjoblibを使ってモデルを保存し、将来使用できるようにします。
