PHMSA - パイプライン及び危険物安全管理局
連邦規則法典第49編（49 CFRパート191、192）では、ガス配管事業者に対し、機械的継手に関するすべての危険な漏洩について毎年報告を提出することが義務付けられています（DOT様式PHMSA F - 7100.1 - 2）。CFRでは、危険な漏洩の定義と、パイプライン安全局に報告を提出する基準が定められています。以下のような情報が収集されます：
