#背景 国家ハリケーンセンター（NHC）は、大西洋海域（すなわち北大西洋、メキシコ湾、カリブ海）および北太平洋の各熱帯低気圧に対して、暴風雨後の分析を行い、低気圧の歴史に関する公式評価を決定します。この分析では、リアルタイムで入手できない可能性のあるものを含む、すべての利用可能な観測結果が利用されます。さらに、NHCは、その注意を引いた過去の熱帯低気圧分析について継続的なレビューを行い、導入された変更を反映するために歴史記録を定期的に更新します。#内容 NHCは、HURDAT形式で熱帯低気圧の歴史データベースを公開しており、略してHURricane databaseと呼ばれます。これらのデータベース（大西洋HURDAT2および北東/北太平洋HURDAT2）には、すべての既知の熱帯低気圧および亜熱帯低気圧の位置、最大風速、中心気圧、および（2004年から）サイズに関する6時間ごとの情報が含まれています。
