私は[Epicuriousレシピデータ][1]を取得し、すべてのレシピカテゴリを30の「メタカテゴリ」のセットに分類して、レシピデータを理解しやすくしました。
最終的にメタカテゴリのPython辞書ができましたので、それをPython関数（「get_categories」と呼ばれる）に変換しました。この関数は、カテゴリのリストを与えるとメタカテゴリを見つけます。また、引数として文字列 'get_keys' が渡されるとすべてのメタカテゴリのリストを返し、文字列 'get_dict' が渡されると辞書全体を返します。
