巣箱の強さや健康状態を示す多くの兆候は巣箱の内部で見られますが、頻繁に巣箱をチェックするのは時間がかかり、ミツバチの作業フローや巣箱全体にとって邪魔になります。巣箱を出るミツバチを調べることで、巣箱自体をより完全に理解することができます。たとえば、ヘギダニに感染した不健康な巣箱には、翅が変形したミツバチや背中にダニがいるミツバチがいます。これらの特徴は巣箱を開けなくても観察できます。盗みバチから守るために、花粉を運んでいるミツバチと運んでいないミツバチの比率を追跡することができます。花粉を持たないミツバチが大量に流入することは、盗みバチの兆候かもしれません。このデータセットは、機械学習モデルを訓練してこれらのカテゴリーにミツバチを分類するための基本的な視覚データを提供することを目的としており、より高度な巣箱の監視や一般的な養蜂の道を開きます。
内容
このデータセットには、位置、日付、時間、亜種、健康状態、階級、花粉の情報が付与された5,100枚以上のミツバチの画像が含まれています。
元の画像のバッチは、ミツバチのタイムラプス動画から抽出されました。フレームを平均化して背景画像を計算し、動画の各フレームからその背景を差し引くことで、前面にミツバチを浮かび上がらせました。その後、ミツバチをフレームから切り出し、各画像には1匹のミツバチのみが含まれるようにしました。各動画にはミツバチや巣箱に関する情報が記載されたフォームが添付されているため、ラベリング作業は半自動化されています。各動画では、画像の切り出し品質レベルが異なります。このデータセットは、より多くの動画やデータが利用可能になると更新されます。
