# 背景
このデータセットには、赤道太平洋全域に配置された一連のブイから取得された海洋学的および海面気象の測定値が含まれています。このデータは、熱帯大気海洋（TAO）アレイを用いて収集されたもので、このアレイは赤道太平洋に渡って配置された約70基の係留ブイから構成され、熱帯起源の季節から年間の気候変動の検出、理解、予測の向上に重要な海洋学的および海面気象の変数を測定しています。
# 内容
データは以下の変数から構成されています：日付、緯度、経度、東西風（西＜0、東＞0）、南北風（南＜0、北＞0）、相対湿度、気温、海面水温、および500メートルまでの地下水温。一部の場所では1980年という早期からブイによるデータが取得されています。様々な場所で取得された他のデータには、降雨量、日射量、海流の強さ、および地下水温があります。
データ中の緯度と経度は、ブイが様々な場所に移動したことを示しています。緯度の値は概略位置から1度以内に収まっていました。しかし、経度の値は概略位置から最大5度も離れていることがありました。
データには欠損値があります。すべてのブイが海流、降雨量、および日射量を測定できるわけではないため、これらの値は個々のブイに依存して欠損しています。利用可能なデータ量もブイに依存します。なぜなら、特定のブイは他のブイよりも早く稼働を開始しているからです。
すべての測定値は毎日同じ時間に取得されました。
