このデータセットは、https://github.com/vmalyi/run - or - walk プロジェクトを補完するものです。このプロジェクトは、ディープニューラルネットワークとiOSデバイスから収集したセンサーデータに基づいて、人が走っているか歩いているかを検出することを目的としています。
このデータセットは、この目的のために特別に開発された「データ収集」iOSアプリ（https://github.com/vmalyi/run - or - walk/tree/master/ios_app_data_collection）の助けを借りて蓄積されました。
なお、このアプリはまだApp Storeで利用できません。
内容
現在、このデータセットには、iPhone 5cの加速度計とジャイロスコープから10秒間隔で約5.4回/秒の頻度で収集された88588個のセンサーデータサンプルを表す単一のファイルが含まれています。このデータは以下の列で表されます（各列はセンサーの軸の1つについてのセンサーデータを含んでいます）：
- 加速度_x
- 加速度_y
- 加速度_z
- ジャイロ_x
- ジャイロ_y
- ジャイロ_z
「activity」列で表される活動タイプがあり、これはラベルとして機能し、以下の活動を反映しています：
- "0": 歩行
- "1": 走行
その他に、このデータセットには、サンプルを収集するためにデバイスが置かれた手首を表す「wrist」列が含まれています：
