データセットには、2013年9月のヨーロッパのカード保有者の2日間の取引が含まれています。合計284,807件の取引が含まれており、そのうちの不正取引は492件で、データ自体は高度にランダムです。詐欺を識別するモデルを訓練するために利用できます。
データは次元削減処理（PCA）が施されており、数字の内容のみが含まれています。V1、V2、....V28はすべてPCAによって得られた最も主要な内容です。唯一PCA処理が施されていない2つのデータは取引時間と取引金額です。ここで、取引時間の計算は、各取引が最初の取引から経過した時間を計算したものです。Classは変数を表し、1の場合は詐欺が発生したことを意味し、それ以外は0です。
