データセットには、Covid-19、肺炎、および正常な患者の胸部X線画像が含まれています。
COVID-19（2019年コロナウイルス病）は、重症急性呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス2（SARS-CoV-2）（コロナウイルスの一種）によって引き起こされる感染症です。最初の症例は、2019年12月下旬に中国武漢で発見され、その後世界中に拡散しました。現在の疫病は、2020年3月11日に世界保健機関（WHO）によって正式に大流行として認められました。
現在、逆転写ポリメラーゼ連鎖反応（RT-PCR）がCOVID-19の診断に使用されています。X線装置は用途が広く、診断用の画像を迅速に提供できるため、胸部X線画像はCOVID-19の早期診断に非常に有用です。
内容
データセットは2つのフォルダ（訓練、テスト）に分けられており、訓練とテストの両方に3つのサブフォルダ（COVID19、PNEUMONIA、NORMAL）が含まれています。データセットには合計6432枚のX線画像が含まれており、テストデータは総数の20％を占めています。
