    ザルツブルクテクスチャ画像データベース（STex）は、オーストリアのザルツブルク周辺で撮影された476枚のカラーテクスチャ画像の大規模なコレクションです。これらの画像は、テクスチャ検索実験に使用するために選ばれており、かなり均質です。STexは、VisTexテクスチャ画像データベースよりも大幅に大きく、テクスチャ分類研究のために提案されたデータベース（Outex、ALOT）よりも均質です。

    テクスチャ画像の例：

    STexは3つの異なるパッケージで提供されています：

    1. stex - 1024.zipには、撮影した画像から切り出された476枚の1024x1024のカラー画像が含まれています。

    2. stex - 512.zipには、1024x1024の画像からダウンサンプリングされた476枚の512x512のカラー画像が含まれています。

    3. stex - 512 - splitted.zipには、512x512の画像を16枚の重複しないタイルに分割して得られた7616枚の128x128のカラー画像が含まれています。
