# 足跡データベース
`Footprint-Database` は、フラットベッドスキャナーを用いて撮影された21人の足跡画像と、指紋画像付きの32人のデータセット（左右の足跡を含む）です。

## なぜ足跡データベースを作成したのか
人間の足跡は、その安定した独自の特性から、比較的新しい生理学的生体認証の1つです。足跡のテクスチャと足の形状情報は、個人認識において強力な手段の1つを提供します。
