太陽フレアは強力な放射線の爆発で、大陸の電力網を混乱させ、GPSシステムを停止させ、宇宙に曝された人々に放射線を浴びせる可能性があります。
太陽フレアを予測するシステムを開発することで、我々は予定されているイベントに対して観測機器を正確に向けることができ、最終的にはそのような最悪のシナリオに対する対策を可能にします。

SDOBenchmarkデータセットには、[i4ds.github.io/SDOBenchmark][1]に専用のウェブページがあり、そこでたくさんの情報を見つけることができます。もしまだ不明な点があれば、「ディスカッション」タブで質問をすることを躊躇わないでください！

インスピレーション
太陽フレアの予測は難しい問題であることがわかっており、一部の人はそれを天気予報に例えるほどです。そして機械学習に関しては、このデータセットは、単一のサンプルが複雑（最大40枚の画像）で、サンプルサイズが比較的小さく（訓練用に8000個）、回帰問題であるという理由から、特に難しいと感じられます。しかし、Kaggleのユーザーは何度も、最も複雑なデータに対しても予測が可能であることを証明してきました。このデータセットを提供することで、Kaggleの機械学習者たちに太陽フレア予測の限界を広げることを促したいと思っています。
