# 背景
グレゴリー・スミスによるVGChartzのビデオゲーム販売データのウェブスクレイピングを契機に、このデータセットはMetacriticからの別のウェブスクレイピングによって変数の数を拡張したものです。残念ながら、Metacriticがカバーするプラットフォームは一部であるため、欠損値があります。また、ゲームによっては以下で説明する追加変数の全てのデータがない場合もあります。完全なデータケースは約6,900件です。
# 内容
名前、プラットフォーム、発売年、ジャンル、パブリッシャー、北米販売量、欧州販売量、日本販売量、その他の販売量、世界販売量というフィールドに加えて、以下のものがあります。
- 評論家スコア - Metacriticのスタッフが集計した総合スコア
- 評論家数 - 評論家スコアを算出する際に使用された評論家の数
- ユーザースコア - Metacriticの会員による評価スコア
- ユーザー数 - ユーザースコアを付けたユーザーの数
- 開発元 - ゲームを制作した主体
- レーティング - ESRBのレーティング
