[LabelMe][1]プロジェクトは何年もの間マサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）で運営されており、ユーザーが画像をアップロードして注釈を付けることができます。ラベルはクラウドソーシングされているため、品質が低い場合があります。私は数ヶ月間、これらのラベルを校正しており、スペルミスを修正し、可能な場合は似たラベルを1つのラベルに統合しています。また、意味が分からないラベルも多く拒否しています。
内容
LabelMeプロジェクトの画像と生のメタデータは、MITのサーバーからダウンロードされました。すべてのデータは公共財です。LabelMe内の画像は、早ければ2000年代初頭に撮影されたものから現在までのものがあります。
私はこれまでにLabelMeデータセットの5％を処理しました。これまでに選りすぐった5％の中に食事に関するもの（皿、グラス、ナプキン、フォークなどのラベル）がかなりあったので、食事に関するデータセットを作成することにしました。このデータセットの画像の大部分は食卓の設定です。
このデータセットには以下が含まれます：
596枚のユニークな画像
これらの画像内のオブジェクトを囲む2734個のラベル付き形状
グリッドセルのどの部分がラベル付きオブジェクトで埋められているかを表す単一の数字が付いた1782個のラベル付き画像グリッド
