ChestXRay2017データセットには合計5856枚の胸部X線透視画像が含まれており、診断結果（つまり分類ラベル）は主に正常と肺炎に分けられ、そのうち肺炎はさらに細分化されて、細菌性肺炎とウイルス性肺炎に分けられます。
胸部X線画像は、広州市婦幼保健センターの1歳から5歳の小児患者のレトロスペクティブ研究から選ばれたものです。すべての胸部X線撮影は、患者の通常の臨床ケアの一部です。胸部X線画像を分析するために、まずすべての胸部X線写真をスクリーニングし、すべての低品質または読み取り不可能なスキャンを除外して、画像の品質を保証しました。その後、2人の専門医が画像の診断を評価し、最後に画像診断の誤りを減らすために、第3の専門家がテストセットを確認しました。
ChestXRay2017データセットのディレクトリ構造：

主にtrainとtestの2つのサブフォルダに分けられ、それぞれモデルのトレーニングとテストに使用されます。各サブフォルダ内では、さらにNORMAL（正常）とPNEUMONIA（肺炎）の2つの大きなカテゴリに分けられます。PNEUMONIAフォルダ内には細菌性肺炎とウイルス性肺炎の2種類が含まれており、画像の命名形式で判別することができます。
