内容 画像は.pngまたは.jpg形式を使用します。合計3組の画像があり、1364枚の画像（約80,000個の細胞）で構成されています。これらの画像は、異なる研究者によってそれぞれ準備されました。ブラジル出身の（Stefanie Lopes）、東南アジア出身の（Benoit Malleret）、および時系列の（Gabriel Rangel）です。血液塗抹標本はギムザ試薬で染色されています。
ラベル データには、2種類の未感染細胞（赤血球と白血球）と4種類の感染細胞（配偶子母細胞、環状体、栄養体、および分裂体）が含まれています。アノテーターは、細胞のカテゴリーの中でも不明瞭な場合でも、一部の細胞を「困難」としてラベル付けすることが許可されています。未感染の白血球や感染細胞と比較すると、未感染の赤血球は著しい不均衡があり、すべての細胞の95％以上を占めています。
各細胞にクラスラベルとバウンディングボックスの座標のセットを付与します。すべてのデータセットについて、ヘイトール・ヴィエイラ・ドゥラド熱帯医学財団病院のマラリア研究者であるステファニー・ロペス（Stefanie Lopes）が、感染細胞にその発育段階を示すクラスラベルを付与したり、「困難」としてラベル付けしたりしました。
