- 2019年1月1日以降、米国の病院は「料金表」を公開することが義務付けられました。これはある種の診療項目のカタログであり、それらの診療項目に対してどのように報酬を受けたいかを示したものです。残念ながら、この情報を公開しない病院に対する取締り機構や罰則はありません。さらに、データの提示形式や診療項目の識別方法も標準化されていません。
これにより、将来の患者に混乱が生じます。
このプロジェクトの目標は、このような情報の一部を集約し、病院の選択を少しでも容易にすることです。
（まだデータに反映されていない他の考慮事項もありますが、後でいくつか追加する予定です）
このデータセットは、2019年4月4日から5日にオレゴン州ポートランドのTechFestNWで開催されたWTFixハッカソン（[HealthSparq][2]が後援）の一環として作成されました。
このデータセットは、http://oregonhospitalguide.org/ で公開されている公開データをスクレイピングすることで生成されました。
最終的な目標は、患者に対してもう少し料金の透明性を高め、医療に関する意思決定をより良いものにすることです。楽しんでください！
