BRFSSの目的は、成人人口における慢性疾患、傷害、予防可能な感染症に関連する予防的健康慣行と危険行動に関する均一で州別のデータを収集することです。BRFSSによって評価される要素には、タバコの使用、医療保険の加入状況、HIV/AIDSに関する知識または予防策、身体活動、果物や野菜の摂取量などが含まれます。データは、電話調査を通じて成人の無作為サンプル（世帯ごとに1人）から収集されます。
行動危険因子監視システム（BRFSS）は、米国の居住者に関する健康関連の危険行動、慢性的な健康状態、予防サービスの利用についての州別データを収集する、国内最高水準の健康関連電話調査システムです。1984年に15の州で設立されたBRFSSは、現在では全50州、コロンビア特別区、および米国の3つの領土でデータを収集しています。BRFSSは毎年40万件以上の成人インタビューを完了しており、世界で最も大規模な継続的に実施される健康調査システムとなっています。
内容
- 各年のデータには数百の列が含まれています。詳細については、[年度別コードブック][1]を参照してください。
- これらのCSVファイルは、pandasを使用してSASデータ形式から変換されたものです。その結果、一部のデータアーティファクトが存在する可能性があります。
- このデータセットが気に入った場合は、2001年から2010年までのデータもおすすめです。
