このデータセットは、ブラウザ内でのトリポフォビア検出プロジェクト（Github）の一環として、Artur PuzioとGrzegorz Uriaszによって作成されました。このプロジェクトは、deepsense.aiでのインターンシップの一環として行われ、ポーランド児童基金による後援を受け、Piotr Migdałによって監督されました。Mozilla Firefox用の実験的なブラウザ拡張機能が利用可能です。こちらで試すことができます。
内容
6.5k枚のトリポフォビアを引き起こす画像が以下のソースから取得されました：
6k枚はReddit（/r/trypophobia）から取得 - voussoirのPrawtimestamps、wget、4pr0nのRipmeを使用
546枚はGoogle画像（キーワード：trypophobia）から取得 - 独自のスクレイパーを使用
10.5k枚の中立画像が、独自のスクレイパーを使用してGoogle画像から取得されました：
10k枚は、この英語辞書からランダムに選んだ5k語を入力し、1語あたり2枚の画像をダウンロードすることで取得
192枚はbushesというキーワードで取得
181枚はgrassというキーワードで取得
98枚はforestというキーワードで取得
すべてのトリポフォビアを引き起こす画像は、2人の別々の人物によって目視で確認されました。両者がそれらがトリポフォビアを引き起こすと同意した場合のみ、データセットに含められました。最初にダウンロードした画像の約10％がこの方法で削除されました。すべての画像は、短い辺が256pxに縮小され、その後256x256にトリミングされました。

画像は4つのフォルダに分割されています
