拡張Yale Face Database Bはグレースケールの顔画像データセットで、28人の人物が9種類の異なるポーズと64種類の異なる撮影パラメータで撮影された、合計16,128枚の顔画像を含んでいます。
拡張Yale Face Database Bには、9つのポーズと64の照明条件下で28人の人物の16,128枚の画像が含まれています。このデータベースのデータ形式はYale Face Database Bと同じです。。
当初の10人の被験者のYale Face Database Bと比較すると、拡張データベースはKuang - Chih Lee、Jeffrey Ho、David Kriegmanによって初めて「可変照明下での顔認識の線形部分空間の獲得」（PAMI、2005年5月）で報告されました。。” 実験で使用されたすべてのテスト画像データは、手動で位置合わせされ、切り抜かれ、その後168x192の画像サイズに再調整されました。切り抜かれた画像を使用して実験結果を公開する場合は、PAMI2005の論文も参照してください。
